On the 4th of April, we proudly took part in Wear a Hat Day. The day was in aid of the Brain Tumour Research Charity and by just wearing a silly hat for the day we raised £97.10. The office team’s colourful choices included fancy wedding hats, baseball caps, sun hats and even a Fez hat.
The Brain Tumour Research Charity’s vision is to find a cure for brain tumours. A donation of just £25 can pay for the genetic analysis of tumour samples, paving the way for personalised treatments for brain tumour patients.
The ‘how’ is by raising funds to create a network of seven dedicated research centres whilst challenging the government and larger cancer charities to invest more in brain tumour research.
In addition, Paramount 21 staff took part in a raffle and sponsoring Alan, Dan and Jay when they braved the wax, razor and clippers on Sunday 2nd of April. The aim was to raise money for not just one but three charities: Brain Tumour Research, Leah’s Fairy Fund and Shine.
